Marathon runners know what they are getting in to, making the choice themselves and if its the lady that died the other day you're talking about, several hundred thousand pounds of give a fuck has been given so far ;)

Racehorses are bred for racing, if there was no horse racing they wouldn't exist in the first place, but I'm all for shooting jockeys and trainers as well. And marathon runners, now I think about it.
