# I hate to say this
but I think they are the best available at the moment.

Which is very, very sad.

# Given a choice between definitely evil and probably incompetent
Give me the useless twats over the evil cunts any day
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 16:40, archived)
# Yep
I think I have to err on the side of useless, rather than those that are simply out to callously pound the poor, underpriveleged and diasabled into submission :(

# I would like to see
a government made up of such people as Pedantichrist, Prodigy69, Beau Beau D'or and Smash Monkey.

# Naughty Monkey, always thinking about dirty naughty things

# But Labour still have Blunkett etc. and are liable to be evil too.
Perhaps a different flavour of evil, with say 30% more intrusiveness and 30% less favouritism.
Other than that, I would agree: you generally want to elect the government that shows the intention to do the least, except with regard to reducing the incomprehensibly huge national debt which is the cause of all the trouble and the reason why we can't have nice things. I assume the next Labour government will be as interested in that as the Tories are.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 17:38, archived)
# As I say
I would rather have Tories than Labour.

I appreciate the honesty.

# And worst at the same time
Given that pretty much all our options are made up of exactly the fucking same kind of people

# contact on flickr just posted this

# Oh fuck
I was thinking this week's comp could be based on shopping that photo, but I'm not sure what you could do to make him look more twattish?
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 17:20, archived)
# That's too much.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 17:33, archived)
# mmmmmm
punchable.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 17:43, archived)
# Fuck.
Presumably it's that size so you can put it as your desktop wallpaper - that's the most frightening thing.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 17:45, archived)
# Oh no way too much smugness.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 17:52, archived)
# Thing is, if you can manage forget who it is, he doesn't look so smug. It's all subconscious influence.
He looks a bit like Stephen Fry, in fact. Somewhat smug, yes, but also kind of genial. It's like that trick with the picture of Professor Farnsworth.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 17:53, archived)
# Yep this covers it
Also, if you sang that chorus repeatedly it would begin to sound like 'cuts, cuts, cuts' which works on a different level

# Depressingly Good
Though it's made me angry I shall click
