What I can't figure out....
...how come crimewatch had so many responses I mean how many bloody brits were down in the Algarve that summer?

The one bit I don't understand
most of this new info comes from one of their friends who was at dinner with them.
She claims she saw someone carrying a kid outside their hotel room.
Didn't she tell the McCanns?
And if not why not?
If she DID tell them, why didn't they go and check?
And why has it taken her SIX YEARS to remember this?

maybe they fell out on the night
because they didn't ask her to babysit?
or did, but said they wouldn't pay her?

...all narrated by a funny bloke.

The Daily Express want some more 'exclusive' interviews
so that their cashpile increases to carry on the hunt .... forever and ever

I'm confused about why this child is still so important to warrant such media attention
when on average 1051898 other children have been reported missing in the UK alone in the last 6 years
Not belittling the grief suffered by the McCanns, just saying what about the other 1051898 parents?

I was referring to them in the singular so as not to upset single parent families ;)

That is because they are not really missing...
...just hidden under their retarded uncles bed...probably.

I'd be surprised if the police actually advise
parents to go down the media route.
The McCanns willingness to be so open with the papers probably helped make it a bigger story, but they get some awful shit in return.
Missing child stories that make the TV news usually feature the parent being interviewed, presumably because that's more gawp-fodder for the viewers than talking to a policeman.

90% of the time
the person who did it is one of those being interviewed. I assumed that's why the police do that.

According to criminal minds and law & order SVU
for most child abductions, if the child isn't found within the first 24 hours they're probably dead.
(it was on TV therefore must be true)

Pretty sure she was sold into some kind of sex cult.
Also Gerry McCann knows Gordon Brown, imjussayin.
Also, I'm pretty sure he fucks children on a frequent basis, the body language from these kids says, 'Please Gerry McCann, don't abuse me physically and mentally and then slice my throat upon a pentagram while you scream at the moon, naked as the day you were born in hell'
