(, Fri 17 Jan 2014, 14:29, archived)

# *cough*jack tarrance*cough*
(, Fri 17 Jan 2014, 15:11, archived)
# my personal fav' theory was that he was someone of power and stature
and that several high up police officers protected him to such a degree that he was free to do what he liked
(, Fri 17 Jan 2014, 15:37, archived)
# you always get those ones
but the fbi have refused to confirm or deny that jack tarrance is the zodiac. one of their researchers even said on camera that it's much more fun letting people wonder.

# I still think Zodiac was Arthur Leigh Allen
(, Fri 17 Jan 2014, 15:56, archived)
# partial dna profile didn't match allen
not to mention he looked fuck all like the eyewitnesses reported
(, Fri 17 Jan 2014, 15:59, archived)
# ex navy, used to cyphers
Allen was a hunter - Zodiac bragged about liking to hunt humans as they made for better prey

Allen owned a foot long knife with a sheath with rivets - one of the victims was killed the same way (they never examined the wounds to see if they matched)

Allen wore size 10.5 - Zodiac left size 10.5 footprints at a murder scene

Allen 'jokingly' admitted he was Zodiac and said he'd prove it by killing a cab driver - Zodiac killed a cab driver and sent them proof

Zodiac used a bomb diagram in one of his his cyphers and said he bought his 'tools' from hunting and trade magazines - Allen had bomb making ingredients and mail order magazines in his basement

but yer right he looked nothing like the eye witnesses *cough* he was probably just set up ...

# compelling, i grant you
but size 10.5 feet are hardly a rarity in men and there are plenty of nutters who could have bomb-making ingredients in their houses. they even suspected the unabomber at one point. it's unusual for serial killers to deviate from their normal m.o, so despite the threats, i don't think he'd ever really have bombed anyone, not personal enough for him. i suppose we'll never know.

# I've read a few books on him..fascinates me at how he was never caught
and how the police totally fucked up with evidence, things going missing...he had/still has them running in circles.

# every century has its ripper

# Woo! HH Holmes is basically the grandfather of every Saw movie ever.
A scary bloke.
(, Fri 17 Jan 2014, 14:30, archived)
# I read a book (The Devil In The White City) about him,
and my main feeling was that he lived his life rather like a 70s sitcom, but one in which he had to keep the serial killings from the wife instead of an affair.

(, Fri 17 Jan 2014, 14:37, archived)

(, Fri 17 Jan 2014, 14:42, archived)
