I haven't seen it yet but it sounds like they've managed to make it about as scary as Gremlins.

but when you think about it, there are variations in size with any living thing and so why should predators/aliens be any different. There will be smaller/bigger versions of said species...........there has to be.

IMDB says Kevin Peter Hall (Mr Predator) was 7 feet 2 inches.
As well as the Predator he played Harry in Harry and the Hendersons.

He sadly died in 1991 aged just 36 from AIDS that he contracted from a blood transfusion.
