Sigh
Chesterfield (the small town) is famous for having a church with a bent steeple.
It's called the Crooked Spire, and is the only thin worth seeing in chesterfield.
Fortunately they put a sodding great road near it, so now you can drive past and see it without actually having to go into chesterfield.

Yes.
I know this. I've been to Chesterfield on a few occasions, though mostly in a drunken state.

I shall be going there again this weekend.
The drunken state that is, not Chesterfield. I shall be in Chelmsford, for my sins.

Yeah, more expenditure on new fags this morning.
Oh, do you know what I did yesterday? I had my bass in it's soft case strapped to my back and my mate dropped her hat. So I bent over to get it and smacked her in the face with the bass and knocked her glasses off.

Too many women that like handsome, successful, intelligent, rich men. The fools.
We need more to base their ardour on height, strength of odour and delapidatedness of car.

I've never been assaulted / beat up since about 16. 11 years.
so a) I avoid trouble

my last (and only) fight was at school.
It was ended when I hit someone with a table, then ran off, drove home and cried because I was a big bully.
Since then the nearest anyone has got was a man in a manchester bar grabbed my throat and told me my dancing was pissing everyone off (group of 30 people moshing in a metal bar and he chose me, for some reason). I said, instinctively and without forethought, "fuck off, please." and he did, surprisingly cheerfully.
Not really sure what was going on but I'm glad I didn't have to demonstrate a complete lack of the ability to defend myself.
