It's all fun and games for a couple of hours and then it's just like watching Catherine Tate.

first time it was funny.
Second time it raised a titter.
Get the fuck off my tellyvizzle, bitch.

One half blind mate
One mate with Spina Bifida who's stopped arguing when I call her hopalong
One friend with worse spina bifida in a wheelchair. So far haven't called him trundly although am considering it.
Dad's a cripple now that he's got a bionic knee. Call him crip/cripple/raspberry ripple. He doesn't seem to mind.

And I'm arthritic. Yaaaaay.

# wow nice!
all i have is torn muscles in my left hand.

stupidl i was sailing across the English Channel hoisting the mail sail. 100Ft mast up
37Ft accross meaning ther was 1850 squar feet of sail for the wind to catch. there was only me and 2 other guys pulling it up and i was aat the back as the main anchor, so i wrapped it round my wrist.

boat suddenly hit a gust of wind, we all get pulled forward and up buy the rope and i get my wrist crushed.

we drank merry that night

# :D
The horrible thing is I can't actually wrangle a cutlass really. I'm trained in Talhoffer style fighting but that's more Big Bastard Swords, really.

Well, the bit I did anyway.

# I still love the fact
that there's actually a sword called a 'Bastard Sword'.

That's the weapon I'd want.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 12:21, archived)
# I don't know what my sword would be called really.
I just call it a hand-and-a-half sword, as that's what it's always been called around me.

It's rather large. And in two pieces now the tang's snapped.
(, Fri 17 Nov 2006, 12:22, archived)
# Yeah
longswords were otherwise known as Bastard Swords apparently.

Truly inspired.

Pink Squirrel.

# That's a hand-and-a-half sword
You can swing it one handed if you're well-trained, but it can also be used two-handed. They're sort of between a zwei-hander and a longsword.
Aragorn's spethial sword in Return of the King is a bastard sword.
