To the point where people are so worried they migh offend one another, they apologise after every slightly risque joke. Apart from in my office, where we all happily call each other bastards and there is a clear North/South divide.

Not allowed to put up pictures of Santa or say Merry Christmas, it's happy holidays, happy winter break, but it's OK to wish someone happy Divali or Hannukah. I wonder where I live, sometimes.

i work with two muslims (i like them there good guys and i have nothing against being muslim).

In my local carpark they've changed all of the pay&display machines so they're about 4ft tall-
presumably to help short people reach, but doesn't it discriminate against tall people with bad backs?
