It's a quote from The Wall
can't remember which song.
A concept album about a bitter paranoid man who hates the world. Must have really been a stretch for old Rog to come up with that idea.

Roger's a dick head.
Gilmour was/is better.
The song was aptly named "Vera"
"Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn?
Remember how she said that we would meet again, some sunny day?
Vera, Vera! What has become of you?
Does anybody else in here feel the way I do?"

She was a singer,
reminding people that after they'll meet again 'some sunny day' after the war.
She was a bit crap, tbh.

New computer + old brain.
What do I have to do to my FF profile to make it spell check the subject as well as the body?
In other news I was fucking awful at campanology tonight. I mean fucking abysmal.
enjoy my pain.

Work machine, not mine.
Mine is sadly dead - I will get a hard drive to store the data from it on and then throw it at a policeman.

Okay.
It can do the other, but I have to change part of my firefox profile.
I have this sorted at work and on my old machine, but not on this.
Anyone know?

Go to about:config
Find the setting 'layout.spellcheckDefault', and change the value to 2.
By default I think it is set to 1 for 'only check text area fields'. Other options are 2 for 'check all text fields' and 0 to disable.

You're welcome
If you slice me in half you will see the words 'IT support bitch' printed like the placename on a stick of rock.
