This week I managed to constantly get frustrated at my inability to work, had a mildly not bad day ruined by my tooth spontaneously bursting
and am currently looking forward to the endless sea of grey dull days bashing against my skull slowly crushing my soul.
How has everyone else's week been?

good work

You could be in an unmitigatingly shit version of The Count of Monte Cristo wherein you are trapped by the chronically depressing world,
only clinging to the hope that one day you will reek a horrible revenge on everyone who even looked at you funny.

then I broke my tooth which for some bizarre reason made me ridiculously depressed and now i'm staring at a fucking awful word document wondering what the fuck i'm doing with my life.

So all the enamel left on it fell off basically, a horrifying reminder of your mortality (well it is to me anyway, because i'm socially maladjusted).
Saying that, I still pry metal things open with my teeth. Hence why my incisors look all needly and pointly like a klingon.

So were the weeks before. In fact 2008 thus far has been generally worth avoiding, punctuated by a few decent snapshots. Actually, that's the same as this week.
Everything will be good in exactly five days time. Wait, it's Friday. Four days' time.

I agreed to give a talk in brighton, back in November when I was young and foolish and didn't realise how nasty January and February will be. I've not written it yet. I barely have the results for it. (I have them but I've not dared look at them for fear of what I'll find.)
But in exactly four days I shall be pleasantly drunk and having my eardrums pumelled by Antiflag. I have no idea if Antiflag are any good or if they suck, but I'm going to love them regardless. :)

Living in a country in which I need a work permit and not having one. Grr.
So I spent the last three days painting a friend's apartment for pennies and emailing newspapers back home in England to see if they want to publish some of my humourous writings.
