I wish I knew how you all do this sort of stuff.
I am crashing around like an idiot clicking things in PShop, 99% of which doesn't seem right. That bird-bomber took 17 layers on 20 frames. Does that seem reasonable? I think I might need to read a bit about all this. But I can't be arsed. What am I on about now!? Nope, nor me!
Tea and toast anyone?

Practice, a lot of reading and testing ideas.
You will learn too. Sounds right, layers add up quickly. And if you are using Img'Ready or PSCSSEIO it gets quite nasty to keep track of it all.

Well I'm not really here at the moment,
but my advice is to play with motion blur to get the movements smoother, and also the bomb flight isn't that smooth. If it helps, you can draw a line and follow it with the bomb layers. Don't worry about the number of layers, I always end up with shit loads too. Just keep practising and pissing around, and asking for advice if you need it, and you'll soon get the hang of it.
for the replies. Yea, that bomb got the better of me and I lost patience. Good tip with drawing the line. I use Adobe Image Ready 5.5 but this computer is a bit light on rams and evicts me now and again. Not an excuse - just frustrating. So I maybe don't spend as long working on these things as I should before putting them on here. I appreciate your input, peeps! :)
