but not that funny. Sorry.
In other news: I have a Bowie quiz almost ready for deploying. My questions are: Did you all like the Beatles one enough for me to do a proper series? What improvements could I make? And which artists would you like to see done?

That's fair enough. I did like the Brown puppet master one, though.

But Pink Floyd would be a good one to do, providing you don't just use the art associated with the songs themselves, of course.

Which is why I thought of doing
1) Bowie
2) more.
Pink Floyd is a good suggestion, though, ta!

At this rate it looks like I won't do any more anyway. It seems I've overestimated the potential popularity of my work.
As I've done the Bowie one , I'll post that one anyway.

but I post it anyway for the people who DO like it. Besides, they're fun to make.
Don't not do things you want to just because some people don't like them - there will always be some who DO like them.
If they don't want to see it, then they don't have to. If you don't make and post it, the people who do want to see it can't.

There's not many who *do* want to see it. This makes it a bit of a waste of time.

I made a digital painting of my friend that I am immensely proud of, but she wouldn't let me post it because she didn't like the original picture, even though she did like what I made using it.
Just because she liked it, I don't midn that I can't post it anywhere. It wasn't a waste of time because one person enjoyed it.

A picture of a friend is a much more personal thing. This is more of a general audience thing. And trust me, if there's only one person who likes something you've done, it's probably not that good. (Not referring to your KillerKitti pic, as you haven't shown it to anyone else for anyone else to be able to like it/not like it)

And the fact that she didn't like the original, and liked what I did with it is pretty good going.

It's on the "popular" page. It got shitloads of replies. Mine included. What more do you want? Don't be too precious about one flipping post...

we shouldn't have to go to a website in order to see the image... regardless of whether the site is good or not

I can cope with the artistic criticism, but the only reason I link to my website is cos the pictures are too wide to post. If someone can give me a better way to post them, i'd be happy to do it...

it's just easier to link to the page with the rest of them on, isn't it?
And in reply to mofaha, he didn't say it WAS click for big, he said it was click to see the last one too.

I do like this but I gather that some of the nazier members of the board aren't too pleased with the picture linking to your website.
Maybe the best thing to avoid their wrath in the future is to show your cartoon in full size, then have a link to your site below the image so the people who liked it can visit the site and view your other work. That way everyone's happy!
Except me. I'm never happy.
