Ken Livingstone has had no impact on my life in his eight years as mayor.

London is a tiny village in the south of England somewhere. Surely the yokels of London should be free to vote for whosoever they choose?
(, Fri 9 May 2008, 13:22, archived)
# they've voted in a massive fop

# I was just going to make the point about Ken
aside from piloting a scheme on congestion charges which is/may be slowly introduced at various hotspots around the country, the only real impact London has on where I live is the amount of people from there who buy second homes up here, pushing us locals out of the market.

What can London, or indeed a London Mayor, do about that?
(, Fri 9 May 2008, 13:24, archived)
# Perhaps Boris could reintroduce
gibbeting.

Do i assume you're still in forrinland? If so, when is a good time for you to travel?
(, Fri 9 May 2008, 13:36, archived)
# hmm, to be honest not sure (yes in forrin) and it would depend on a lot of things
Such as location, transport access, accomodation, etc.

I would love to try and attend a seaside bash, but would need to check on what was decided before I could commit ;)

# If you can make it to Poland,
I can probably organise getting you over here hidden in an HGV container.

You may end up working in Bernard Matthews place for a few months before the place was raided by immigration officials, but I'm sure we can deal with that when we come to it...
