# Oh hang on.
Erm, I'll get the wife to give me the link, but we bought the full adobe creative suite recently for a couple of hundred or thereabours.

# link for what?
just so you know i may or may not have a completely legal copy. It may possibly be a "back up" copy ;)

# Link for the site where we got it.

# I'd like it too
because unless you have bought a student version from a licensed reseller I'll be amazed if that's a legal purchase. If it is I'll be very pissed off that mine cost me £700+ from Adobe and that included my 2+ previously licensed product discount. ( I'm talking CS3 btw I'm sure you can get older products more cheaply )
(, Fri 16 May 2008, 11:57, archived)
# I'll have a look.
The wife certainly thought it was all above board, it's all registered with adobe and everything.

But hey, what do I know, eh? *shrugs*

Hello by the way.

# Hello Miss.

# Adobe are as bad as Autodesk for shafting their customers
on upgrades. If you can stick the learning curve try Corel Draw. It's far cheaper and comes with a Photoshop type thing called Photo-paint. It's cheaper, but I get a few compatablity issues with Illustrator. That said, it's Corel Draw 12, which is about 5 years old.
(, Fri 16 May 2008, 12:47, archived)
# I have Corel Draw X4
and Painter X plus Paint shop pro X and PSP Photo X2.
Corel and I go waaaay back. Oh yeah, I forgot knockout 2. I have that also.

i still haven't given mine a full appraisal, these things take time.
(, Fri 16 May 2008, 11:31, archived)
# Well I didn't talk about extending of the trial... :)

# I'm not having my partner's business dreams
ruined by using pirated software. It's too dangerous, I'd rather just be above board when it comes to these things.

Plus it's really not that much money, we earn enough to cover it.
