In other news, I just won 2 tickets to see Coldplay at Brixton apparently. Does anyone know where I can find an industrial supplier of rotten tomatoes?

Can you get me a hand that has been written upon and tied up with electrical tape to freak him out?
The sad thing is that I really have to go as my friend is a huge fan of them for some reason, and she got me a ticket for Radiohead so....

I went to see Girls Aloud when my girlfriend won free tickets. There's no shame in it.
Admittedly, I only went because of the free hotel and drinks.

I do have to admit, I loved Parachutes when it came out, and I quite enjoyed parts of X and Y. But my biggest problem is that twat who sings for them. I think as well, it is a subtle bit of retribution for winning free VIP tickets to see Velvet Revolver a few years back, and free tickets to V last year and many more free tickets :)

Velvet Revolver - Carling Live (They used to give away loads of free tickets through comps on their website, I dont know if they still do)
The Brakes and The Pipettes - Carling Live
V Festival - Drunk vs Stoned on Virgin Radio
Brian Wilson - A friend worked for the Royal Festival Hall and got me 2 free tickets to see the World Premiere of That Lucky Old Sun (A Narrative)
Elbow @ Somerset House - A Grolsch comp I think
and others I'm sure :)
The best one was V Festival though, not just because of the bands I saw, Newton Faulkner, Jet, Ocean Colour Scene, Boy Kill Boy, but because when I was coming out of the loos, some woman stopped me and asked if I wanted to buy a raffle ticket, which I did for £1, and I won a Gibson SG :D

I've never been to a gig where there were so many costume changes. Fortunately, this meant more time without them singing.

I used to live near the Academy, whenever I went out on a friday I used to play the 'who's playing at the academy' game by looking at the punters coming the other way.. Band like Coldplay and Moby had the blandest fans, by a long way.
