i'm just too old and grumpy i guess, i find the "Let's go out and let's get bloody drunk eh lads?" mindset a little tedious.
one of sheffield's best features is Belly Busters and its kin. that should be the main slogan of the tourist board "sheffield - We have bigger sandwiches than you!"

I don't mind the students much myself really, unless they're really annoying eager first years.

being able to go into a pub with out some desperate homunculus and his mates dressed in togas standing by your table shouting about all the girls they'll never have sex with?

i've been to a fair few of the world's great cities too and nowhere has the same wonderful vibe that london does. where else can you find a wonderful classically educated busker who resides under blackfriars bridge reciting his poems in shakespearean enuciation. give me london over anywhere.

no complaints although my 2mb does drop to 1mb of an evening, apparently our bit of copper string is full up.
still can't complain as i only pay the £9.99 a month for the first year introductory offer i took up 2 years ago, every time it's up for review i tell them i'm changing to tiscali and they wave their magic wand. 2mb unlimited is quite quick enough for me ta.
