edit : has anyone here had experiences of getting blood tests results from the doctor - do they just give them to you over the phone or do you have to speak to the doctor??

I don't think they have needles over the phone yet.

I was at the doctors this morning and asked about some blood tests I had done last week. She said that they normally have them within 48 hours and checked and I was fine. So judging by the fact that I dont have AIDS of the heart as I suspected, and they didnt contact me to tell me anything was wrong, that was why.
Apparently the old maxim No news is Good news holds true :) I am sure that if little Miss Jesse had something very wrong they would have called you in straight away :)

The only issue I had was how much blood they took from me!
It was nearly an armful! ;)
But seriously, I hope your daughter is fine, in fact, even better than that, I hope she is brilliant! But if you ever need an anonymous chat, more than happy to oblige :) As I am sure most on here would be.
Good luck fella! To you, your missus, your daughter and any siblings she may have :)

They don't normally bother you unless its an emergency. Though if you're worried, just give your doc a call. They generally know whats going on.
