where he was promoting himself around here in North Norfolk, and I managed to get to a local meeting where he was speaking.
He reminded me a little of Private Walker from Dad's Army in the way he came across

# Google image search is a bit pants isn't it?
I mean when you search for "julie moult" all you seem to be getting at the moment are random images by people who happen to have "julie moult" in their b3ta sigs.

# It's not just the press though
Have you seen Panorama lately?

The Beeb and ITV news are obsessed with scare-mongering stories about everything from cvomputers, the economy to travel.

If there's a computer/internet angle to a seemingly pointless story they run it.

A year or two ago, Panorama ran a show about online gambling, but at no point did they say that gambling was gambling whether you did it online or ina betting shop. Somehow the fact that it was 'online' made it a different/worse proposition.

I wrote to BBC Newswatch about it and got completely ignored.

You should go to the PCC ...

# we can't win though
if we keep our kids off the streets in fear of them getting knifed, they'll stay at home and become paedos, because that's what the internet does to people
