That's a quick small one but I can happily make them 300dpi and 2 feet wide. And the 'wood' background was just a bit of messing.

# tell you what
hoping to get why website up and running again with my prints up there. Come, say, mid summer, just go through the site and pick out the ones you like, and i'll send 'em on over. Cheaper to send a bunch at one time.

# That would be cool.
At least your work is tangible. You definitely should be selling signed prints.

# What wood do you carve these on? I'm sure I've asked this before but I've managed to already forget.
I should write it down.

Also, do you ever do wood sculptures/carvings?

# i guess its pine
i just go to Lowe's and grab a 1"x8"x6' board or whatever, and go to it. My recollection is that people who really know their stuff use cherry, but i already spend enough on my addiction.

I've never tried sculpture. I've a hard enough time working in 2D.

# I was going to call you a crack whore, but you don't really crack so much as chip anyway so that completely doesn't work.
I've only ever done two sculptures, both in wood, one oak which was fucking impossible to even dent and basically ended up still practically square, and one pine which just ended up splintering too easily. The difficult bit is having to keep the thing in a decent vice grip and constantly spin it around, that and cutting it into the right shape to begin with.

The pine one did come out fairly well though, wherever it is, on a dusty shelf in a plastic bag behind me somewhere.
