That just needs a bit more consideration for reposting, surely.

I try to wait till a few other replies are in before reposting.

there's over an hour's worth of stuff on the board at the moment though, it's not going to solve any problems putting reposts in other folk's threads. unless it's funny of course. i'm a firm believer in roger rabbit physics

Chucking it in an existing thread still gets it clicked and in the challenge listing.

There'll be plenty of people with reposts ready to go, if they all spurt at once in new threads any new work will be lost completely.
In fact, a slower board with posts in existing threads may get all the new and reposts seen more than a lightning fast board with new thread reposts.

And having the attitude that you'll ignore the FAQ because it does not suit you just makes b3ta shit.
Wednesday night is a shit night to post anything that you take some effort to make because it will quickly disappear under a deluge of reposts in new threads or a 20 second photoshop that has absolutely no connection to the brief of the challenge and that also makes b3ta shit.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. B3ta needs a /challenge board. Keeps everything nice and organised then and you can post any old shit you like as I'll not have to look at it.

same here, i don't think it's a one-sided thing

but the repost rulettes* are to stop things getting pushed off the board too fast, it's really not killing the board when we're travelling at this sort of speed

*i can't think of a better name for them. satisfyingly, the closest the faq has to a rule is this:

I made an image ages ago that fits with this week's challenge, is it OK to repost it?
We would prefer that you made a new picture instead, that's what the image challenge is for. No reposted image has won the challenge yet.
