# If you could fly or be invisible, which would you choose?
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:36, archived)
# Invisible. I'd stow away on an aeroplane and fly in it.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:37, archived)
# hahaha ^ this

(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:39, archived)
# Invisible, assuming I could turn it on and off at will.
Nice work.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:40, archived)
# You'd confuse the fuck out of Will.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:41, archived)
# Fuck him, I'd be invisible.

# Invisible
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:40, archived)
# Play the sax !
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:41, archived)
# What kind of invisiblility?
Visual or full spectral invisibility?
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:41, archived)
# The latter
and selective too.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:42, archived)
# Would I be able to make my clothes invisible too?
Or would I have to walk around naked?
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:44, archived)
# Still probably go with flying.
You could just be picked up with sonar anyway so would only be good for infiltration and voyeurism.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:46, archived)
# How widespread is sonar used for detection?
Unless you're planning on swimming down to a submarine the only real issue with sonar I can imagine is that bats don't fly into you, which can only be a plus.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:48, archived)
# What the hell do you mean 'only'?
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:49, archived)
# Well I'm thinking more from the battling the entire universe than a peeking on showering women angle.
I mean you could just do the latter if you could fly anyway, turn up a costume looking manly and hovering and they'd be all over you.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:53, archived)
# Ah, right.
I have more modest aims.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:56, archived)
# Though knowing my luck the US government would just tactical bomb me in my sleep instead of having an epic battle.
Gits.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:02, archived)
# Excellent point. It would suck to be visible in the infrared. Ultraviolet would be okay, at a pinch.
edit: I feel I should point out, that I was not referring the film 'Ultraviolet' as being 'okay'. It most certainly is not. It is awful, in fact.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:44, archived)
# Just so that you could scare the fuck out of squaddies.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:46, archived)
# invisible
then I could steal an aeroplane and fly

edit: No expenses? Didn't he claim for the cost of trimming his Wisteria?
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:41, archived)
# I actually just thought 'I reckon that David Cameron's head would look good on the No Jacket Required album cover'.
Beyond that it's just whimsy.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:44, archived)
# It would look even better on a pole with all the others
on London Bridge

# He also claimed the whole £24,000 for second home rent/mortgage despite so obviously being a rich cunt.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:45, archived)
#
rich

# If I was charged with running the country
I would want a lot more money than they are getting, I can tell you.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:56, archived)
# They want as much as GPs apparently.
GPs who train for fucking years and are highly qualified.
The qualifications an MP needs: being more popular than the other guy.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:59, archived)
# Responsibilities of a GP: The lives of around 600 people, most of whom are healthy.
Responsibilities of the PM: The lives and welfare of the whole nation.

(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:01, archived)
# Yep, and that's why they get paid a very healthy salary, £60,000+ and much more if they have a ministerial role or similar.
Responsibility is only one of the things which should affect pay.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:03, archived)
# That's not really a terribly good wage.
Bear in mind that a minor exec in a media agency might get many times that.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:06, archived)
# It's nearly 3 times the average wage.
And as a public sector job, it's really very generous for a starting salary.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:08, archived)
# I fucking hate David Cameron
that is all
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:42, archived)
# I suspect you may not be alone there mate
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:44, archived)
# I assure you he's not.
And, to save a bit of internet, invisible.

For the crime.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:45, archived)
# Dark times ahead methinks
:(
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:58, archived)
# I think a lot of people hate him.
I reckon he'd be a really great bloke to go for a drink with.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:58, archived)
# Certainly.
You could get him drunk and push him under a train, and save the future.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:00, archived)
# Hahaha!
We may have a plan
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:09, archived)
# Don't worry, we will have 5 years of him being prime minister
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:46, archived)
# I'm not sure I can stand five years of listening to Dave
explain why he is going back on everything he said leading up to the election.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:58, archived)
# So like every prime minister then
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:05, archived)
# Immortal. I know it is not one of the options. I don't care.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:42, archived)
# I might be.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:43, archived)
# Flying.
I've no mind to get up to mischief.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 20:57, archived)
# invisible
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:17, archived)
# Fly
Unless my clothes would be invisible too. Otherwise I'd be walking around invisible but freezing. Actually, I've gone right off invisibilty. Fly it is.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 21:20, archived)
# Fly.....
