The other day
I saw a good argument for replacing the word 'privilege' with 'imagined superiority'.
Now, I mentally do that when I see the word privilege and I find it far more apt in most situations.
It neatly removes the possibility for people who are poor to reject the idea that they are racist because they reject the idea that they are privileged.
