and not good enough to be the hard-hitting social commentator he aspires to be. Frankly, he's just not good enough.

I'm not a fan but he's significantly funnier than several other professional comedians, and much less of a cunt than Francis Wheen, Ian Hislop, or John Sessions.

From what I've seen he's consistently held up a mirror to those in power, whoever they are, and repeatedly put himself in the legal firing line in the process. Sure, I can see he might be irritating to some people but that doesn't make him a cunt IMO.
I might be missing something, in which case I'm genuinely interested what it is!

It’s the same situation with Nerine Skinner, a.k.a. Liv Struss/Navine Borries; the Tories are out so now they’ll need to change their acts.

In the case of the latter she can switch to Rayner or Phillips (she’s already done some videos in these personae) but Pie will struggle without a target so universally hated as the Tories.
