This is a link post Stars in their Eyes - Sweep style
Whilst looking for a clip I vaguely remembered seeing years ago where Sweep off of Sooty and Sweep fame pretended to be Stevie Wonder, I've found this work of genius.

And yes - Sweep always had legs, you usually saw them wiggling when he got stuck or fell over something.
