I made this film and its all kicking off. It worked! Got free sailing training, gettng a yacht, gonna become a the Simon Le Bon of le comedy.

...I could like it, with the Withnail & I reference, and the ambition and all that Jazz, but the posh accents and the BMW coupe shout a little too much of already having the backing you need, to go on frivolous jaunts like this, and not really have to worry about the financial/rest-of-your-life consequences, even after the rounds of applause in Edinburgh have died down. It's a really great idea, and I know that 'suffering for one's art' is still held as one of the highest types of integrity, but I just didn't 'feel' this one.

Still, lads, you have my support, and any flaming or comments about my thoughts are gladly received.

Looks like a fab idea, why the hell haven't Aunty Beeb given you £ yet?!?!?!?
They pay Danny Wallace to make up his own country etc. Your idea far more entertaining and less "oooh aren't we amazing for riding motorbikes round the world". I'd love to see how you guys get on - where does one sign up to follow progress??
