which is why all my radios are tuned to it. My original remark was geared at how meaningless music has become. The concept of a top-forty for example, or even a number one seems completely irrelevant. It seems like in the last twenty years I could not give a fuck what is popular music, have absolutely no exposure to it, and view anyone obsessing about it as air-headed eccentrics; not that I seem to encounter such people. I can't even remember the last time music played in the background of a pub.

Perhaps I have simply grown up

The best music doesn't always come knocking on your door. You have to care enough to seek it out. That's always been true to a greater or lesser extent. Radio plays are all about generating sales.

You should definitely put on ignore people who are consistently rude, humourless and who never post anything entertaining. I don't think Coxxy is in that category.
