Weddings and holiday parks
When musos run out of money, they join covers bands to play weddings and caravan parks. It doesn't mean they're bad musos, in fact they're often pretty decent session players, but they're stuck in spangly suits playing shit in an effort to keep the audience drinking. Because of this, once in a while, to stop the brainrot, they give it all...
Drummers are an odd lot anyway, and drummers don't form covers bands, they join them when they need the cash. I've known some session drummers playing the parks who'll go all 16:4 on a 4:4 pop song just to fight the tedium...
