This is a link post Cairngorm Funicular Railway I made this!
I went up a mountain on a train. I went up quite slowly, but you can watch it quite quickly.

If you are up there in winter, I strongly reccomend sliding down the ski runs on a large plastic bag. It annoys the hell out out of the skiers. Stopping is somewhat "fun"
