This is a link post Daily Fail in some amazingly balanced and well thought out journalism
Their 'review' of Lars von Trier's Antichrist.

Highlight of the piece is probably "I haven't seen it myself, nor shall I - and I speak as a broad-minded arts critic, strongly libertarian in tendency. But merely reading about Antichrist is stomach-turning, and enough to form a judgment".

Brilliant.

This is a normal post Top-notch.
Unusually, the comments at the bottom err on the side of sanity.

This is a normal post to be fair
I've seen some of Lars von Trier's films and based on those and what I've heard, I really won't be watching Antichrist

This is a normal post I'm not certain I've ever seen anything by him.....
What's the deal? Is he good? Bad? Can someone pitch MR LVT in 10 words?

This is a normal post he hates women and wants to upset people in the name of art
his films are generally without any form of compassion and tend to end badly in a depressing "I could have done without that" kind of way.

Dancer in the Dark (the one with Bjork playing a blind woman who is sentenced to death) is a relatively cheery musical one if you want to dip your toes in at the sunny end.

This is a normal post Ahaaaa! So I have seen at least one of his output
But Blimey! If you say Dancer in the Dark was the HAPPY end of his spectrum..... 0_0

This is a normal post I watched Dogville recently
When I realised it was all shot in a black room with set markings I thought "oh no." But I really warmed to it. Not enough to value his auteuristry though.

This is a normal post This is my personal favourite,
"Another bizarre but typical judgment from this panel of experts whose names we don't even know (and so we don't even know if they are parents)"

Speaking as a mother.....

This is a normal post I bet its nowhere near the depths of some of the flicks available from torrent sites.
Ahem...allegedly, according to a bloke down the pub.

This is a normal post i was amazed that the majority of comments
were anti the reviewer, who does seem like a bit of a stick in the mud. I mean, what's wrong with a little genital mutilation every now and then?

This is a normal post I haven't read the article myself...
...but based on preconceptions I won't like it as it will be crap. :)

well ok, I did read it, sounds an interesting film. I'm not a Lars fan, but really liked Dogtown; Besides, if it's crap I can always walk out....
