Is it still funny? I hear it was at the time...

it's by Graham Linehan, if you like his other work (Black Books, IT Crowd, Big Train) then you'll like this too. Not sure if 4oD is still showing them, they used to have every episode but since that was a good idea Channel 4 took a bunch of them down. But yes, watch it.

enjoyment is reminiscing.

but the episodes are better. In times of boredom I like to spin the "Wheel of Ted" and watch a random episode. Not a wasted moment, line or gag in any of the 25 episodes.
Perfect, in my opinion.

Father Ted is about as far removed from that as is possible.
I'd also second what was said up there and heartily recommend Black Books too.

I think they're isolated on the island because of past crimes. There's one episode with Father Jack fantasising about being in a classroom full of little girls. I'm not making this up.

Always thought Black Books and IT Crowd are overrated (especially IT Crowd).
But Ted has always been one of the very best.

I'm here to say: Bravo, that's a thing of joy, crafted with love!
