English?

This is a normal post Nope. I'm just not one of the vocal minority of Nationalist fuckwits who believe that Scottish Independence is in any way a good idea at the moment.

This is a normal post So...
Ironic coming from a government who declared that they are morally obliged to follow the "will of the people" at all costs.

This is a normal post Same thing, innit?
Broken campaign promises, no ability to change ones mind when situations change, and "the people have spoken already" used to justify not having another vote.

A flat no will hardly have been a surprise and would clearly be a part of the calculation.

This ain’t over yet, not by a long way.

This is a normal post plummy Eton faced gobshites telling Scots what they can and cant do is exactly the sort of shit that got the SNP from obscurity to government, I heard

This is a normal post I wanted Scotland to remain last time and pleased they did

Right now, I hope they do have another referendum and leave, purely to stick it to us. Why should they be dragged into our bullshit? Yes, it will ruin our economy furthermore, but we deserve everything we get.

This is a normal post Quite a few, but by no means all, of the people I know (in Scotland) who were banging the Yes drum on social media in 2014
were also banging the Brexit drum a couple of years later.

It's quite impressive to watch the doublethink at work as they decry the evil tory government that was elected on a promise to deliver what they fucking voted for. In the last referendum, anyway. But that other referendum definitely needs a re-run. Just not the one with the result they liked.

This is a normal post Tories win majority in General Election : "Clear mandate for Brexit, will of the people"
Pro-EU, Pro-Independence SNP wins majority in Scotland : "..."

If anything it's a clearer mandate for Scottish independence. The 'will' for brexit phrase is debatable as it still doesn't represent over 50% of the voting populace, whereas much more than that voted for the SNP in Scotland. Hmmm..
