I've had to deal with Openreach and I'd quite happily set their vans on fire as a result.

Lying fucking bastard. And he wired up phone sockets in every room. Except the bathroom.

Came to our business after the dp was damaged. After months of surveys a team of 2 came out and said they'd put a new line outside but we'd have to dig a hole 3 foot deep. Through concrete. So once they revisited they said they couldn't do it then because the hole wasn't deep enough. So we had to dig it again and wait. Second time hole was deep enough so they fitted whatever they needed to and buggered off sharpish. After we noticed they'd gone (didn't tell us) tested the line to find out wasn't working. Another call and another week wait for another survey to find out that although they'd fitted the cabling they'd forgot to put the dp back in the building and wire it up. I still had the original engineers number and rang him to let him know what a great job he'd done only to be told it wasn't his job to fit a dp or run any wires. Took another few weeks to get a another engineer to finally fix the problem. The business was running without internet access for 4 months. It was a fucking nightmare.

I don't believe IEE Wiring Regulations allow phone sockets in bathrooms.

would I also be allowed to tell BT that they're cunts for not spending millions of pounds of their money to offer me a high end service for less than £100 per month? At what point does choosing to live in an inaccessible location becomes one's own responsibility? I bet if Tesco decided to provide them with a convenience they'd go mental at the audacity.

However I live in Zone 1, half a mile from the largest internet exchange in Europe, and I can only get 4Mbit DSL because Openreach won't install fibre in my area either.
So in conclusion, fuck them.

Anyway, when it comes to broadband, as far as I'm concerned, all of you (yes you, there, on the internet) are cunts. And here's why:
When BT Openworld (as it was called at the time) originally rolled out this shit, at a whopping 512kbps, almost none of you fuckers had even heard about it, yet I was on the early adopters waiting list from over a year beforehand so I got that shit the first week it was available in my area. And I had ZERO FUCKING CONTENTION for about a year. Ever since then, all you bandwagoners have jumped aboard resulting in my service getting slower and slower, partially due to contention, but also due to all the websites becoming more bandwidth hungry to cater to the stinking masses with broadband.
So fuck ALL of you, and get back to dial up where you belong.
