...not sure on the opinion of motorbikes though. Personally I love 'em, and I particularly like this one - to me this is a work of art.
So for any motorbike fans on B3TA, here's a lovely Indian Scout custom for you (if you like bikes and haven't seen this site before, well worth a browse):

Fucking love indians mind, still to fast for me though to this day (and I am only young).

I'm fed up with the weather and thinking BMW tourer (R1150RT) now. Would love a nice classic bike though. I live in Poole and look at all the lovely bikes on the quay on bike night with envy! Had a Brough Superior and a Vincent Black Shadow down there recently, both being regularly ridden. I'd be happy with a nice Honda CB400 four for now...

pretty too. Honda CB 125 was my first bike, good reliable series. Plus they feel a bit safer than most.

and they can be fun too! Old ones can be surprisingly pretty as well. Here's the old 400/4. I love the pipes, and I love the lines of the tank. Slightly dropped bars and sort out the seat/tidy the rear lights and this would be a lovely bike!

or if Chitty-chitty bang-bang was recycled (no pun intended) into a bike.

Good film, same bike (although this is based on a 1940 scout and I believe the subject of the film was a 1928). Well worth a watch if you've not seen it before anyway, whether you like bikes or not!

But for some reason they just don't do anything for me. They should as its all clunky engineering and I do like that, but I don't know...

It reminds me a lot of the old streamliner BMWs. Like this one: www.2blowhards.com/archives/BMW%20328%20-%201.jpg

It's a thing of beauty, although I've never been into classic bikes personally, I know very little about them being a biker. I've not long got me a GSXR 600: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lakx3V-K8iQ - It moves like proverbial shit off a shovel :o)

especially the likes of a GSXR (the one modern sportsbike that isn't currently obsessed with electronic assitance), but at a shade over 6'2", I don't tend to be too comfy on them for more than 10 minutes!
I sat on a BMW R1000 recently and didn't feel I'd even be able to safely operate the brake given how little space I had!

It sounds like a spaceship and it is oh so tetchy, I think I;d shit myself with something like that, sports bike wise, I'l stick with scramblers.

Scary if you ask me, as that is the kind of bike Ghostrider rides.
He does have a big fuck off turbo on his though.
Illl stick with my Baby Ducati monster 400

I've got two of these at the moment:

1970's Russian Ural flat twin combos, based fairly closely on the ww2 German BMW version. I'm basically making one worker out of the two.
Now just need to source an MG42 machine gun mount for it...
