My beautiful moment
is now, I have recently finished my PhD after returning to university 7 years ago having left school with only GCSEs. Don't know how I managed it but lots of people helped along the way. The day after my viva I also finally managed to get a job. The true single moment was being able to repay the people that have helped me keep a smile on my face through all the tough times.

Congrats on the PhD chap. I was in the same boat - left school with only GCSEs, went to work for a few years and finally started uni when I was in my 20s. What I lack in A Levels I make up for in several years work experience... something that students who came here straight from school or college haven't got. I reckon it's the best way to do it. Just about to start the final year of my degree now. Good times.
