Davros' Grandad confesses: On visiting my ex-wife's house, I wiped my bum on the toothbrush belonging to the bloke she ran off with. At least, I thought it was his toothbrush.

Possibly more chldlike than childish
I love walking, unhurredly in the pouring rain without an umbrella, and with a smile on my face, when everyone else is scowling under umbrellas or sheltering in doorways.

Yeah
Sometimes I'll meet someone coming the other way that also likes it, and we'll share a huge grin.
It's a bit like when you see someone grinning in the street and you can't help grinning yourself - setting off a chain reaction.

It reminds me..
..of when I was young. My school was through 2 other school districts and I used to get attacked quite often by other kids.
The only time I didn't was when it rained.
I always enjoy it when it rains.

I can never understand this urgent need to pull out a brolley at a bit of rain.
Plus i love the looks on peoples faces if its raining really hard when they catch sight of me totally waterlogged and grinning

I always do this
But any journey in the rain is made so much better by jumping in a few puddles along the way.

Hoppípolla
I was out for a few drinks with some of my mates a few months back, in the middle of winter. It started pissing down with rain when we were at the pub, and it was about a twenty minute walk back to my mate's place.
So, walking back, there's my three friends, all huddled up with their collars turned against the rain, while I caper around with a huge grin on my face, leaping double-footed through every puddle we pass. It was brilliant fun.

And singing
in the rain
it's always good. Especially if it's Singing In The Rain.
A warning, though- policemen don't like you danging and singing in the rain then getting into the drivers side of a car. Apparently only a person who's utterly intoxicated would enjoy it raining...

I am with you!
Rain is awesome.
It's probably to do with the time that as a 5 year old, Katie (the lovely girl from next door) and I were outside in the rain in summer laughing like goons....but anyway....I am always the only person in the office that is thrilled to see it pelt down outside it seems.

When this happens in summer..
You know, when it really belts it down - I absolutely love it..
I sometimes just stand there and watch the world around me scurrying for cover - you get pissed wet through, but it feels great.
