This is a question Crap Gadgets

We wanted a monkey butler and bought one off eBay. Imagine our surprise when we found it was just an ordinary monkey with rabies. Worse: It had no butler training at all. Tell us about your duff technology purchases.

Thanks to Moonbadger for the suggestion

Is making an omlette really so arduous
that it needs a gadget to facilitate it?

That said, I have a microwave bacon plate (also from betterware), that only sees use when I want a) slightly soggy bacon, cooked slightly quicker than usual, and b) to not get the grill/frying pan mucky (ie. almost never).

bacon plate
I got one of those in poundland and use it all the time. Probably because I don't like brown crispy greasy bacon or the house to smell of frying pan all day.

Fried bacon is best, as you can then fry bread in the resultant fat.
Yum.
