Fairgrounds, theme parks, circuses and carnivals
Tell us about the time the fairground came to town and you were sick in a hedge; or when you went to a theme park or circus and were sick in a hedge

Disney land is the devil of all theme parks,
Not only is Disney a cancerous lump on the arsehole of culture, but those creepy fucking men dressed up as characters in animal suits playing with the kids. When they ever approached me as a kid Id take much pleasure in giving em a fair old wack in the shins. Repugnant bastards go get a proper job !

Hmm
I'd say the best way of dealing with that issue, is not to go to Disney.
We took my daughter there when she was 4, and she fuckin' loved it. She had her photo taken with dozens of the creepy men dressed as characters. That's more or less what they're there for.

I'm with you
I took my kids (3 & 5) to Disney Land Paris a few weeks ago and they had the best few days of their lives. I used to be a bit anti-Disney but their animated films knock the socks off any others and the kids love 'em.
If you don't like it, don't go. Simple as.

Huh.
Wish I was lucky enough to be taken to Disneyland as a child.

You didn't miss anything.
I went as a child and don't recall anything exciting, fun or interesting about the place -- I did have fun, of course, but I've had much more memorable times in cheaper places. Disney's not the worst thing, but it is hugely over-rated.

Port Aventura
It's a huge theme park in Spain. Woody Woodpecker is a bit shit but they have Sesame Street characters for the kids and the rides are good. It's still quite expensive but probably half the price of the equivalent Disney branded park.
