B3TA fixes the world
Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Bus fares
What in the name of christ happened to the price of bus fares ?
Its costs me (in Bristol) £2.50 each way to go to town and back home on the bus !!! 5 fucking quid !!! to go to work each day....
How is this supposed to promote a greener message to people
its cheaper for me to run a small motorbike (including servicing)
than it is to use the cunting bus

Come to London.
In the words of George Orwell, "I never knew a man could be charged for sitting down, until I went to London."

Still only £2.20 for a single bus journey in London
£1.30 if you pay by Oyster. in both cases however the most economical (and in many cases quickest) way to go is to buy a second-hand bicycle.

Kilmarnock to Glasgow
If it wasn't for the parking costs in Glasgow it would be cheaper for the misses to take the car.
Yearly or monthly tickets don't work out cheaper because they don't factor in holidays.

australia had the right idea
when I was there, you had 3 options:
- a standard ticket. This was $2 (£1.30) and lasted for 3 hours, so if you needed more than one bus to reach your destination, or were only going for a short trip, the one ticket would do fine
- an all day ticket. This was $5 (£3) and lasted, obviously enough, all day. Only of use if you're going to need more than 2 of the single tickets - if you're just getting the bus to work and back, singles are cheaper.
- a weekly ticket. 7 days use for £15 (£10). Again, unless you need more than 2 buses a day, you're probably better off on singles.
Also, whenever there was any kind of event organised by the council, all buses to/from that event were free of charge.

Small cc motorbikes
FTW.
I've just got a 10 year old cub 90 (to go alongside the CBF1000!), and it's properly win. Not sure what the fuel consumption will be like as I seem to have the throttle pinned at all times...

I really want a C90
It would be awesome looning about on a C90 and it means that the silly tart who ran my bike over would only have run over a Cub and not my street fightered SV... Actually, that gives me an idea!
