I think jellied eels are quite weird and local to London.

Double double's are London's speciality along with eels.
But I think the fact that in town you can get pretty much any delicacy from round the world is London's 'thing'.

They do round my way.
Proper East End pie & mash is fucking revolting too. There's a gorgeous looking place just up from my house, I went when I moved to the area. Never again: the pies are fucking repulsive.
