Where is the source of the Thames?
Somewhere in the Cotswolds, I'm guessing.

Near Cirencester.

It shall be.
Driving between Cirencester, Oxford, Goring, Henley, Reading, London and the Isle of Sheppey, taking in Whitstable and Canterbury at the end. I can't fucking wait!

You've got to try and fit Woolwich car ferry in, if it still operates.
I used to love going on that.

Edit - yes it does:-

There's a massive pink robot on the boat.

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:38, Reply)
Well how else would it get from East London to Greenwich?

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:40, Reply)
If it's still there I'm going.

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:42, Reply)
The ferry is worth it anyway
Regardless of the presence of cross-Thames commuting robots.
(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:43, Reply)
Convince me.

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:45, Reply)
Its free
And you get to see the river from another angle - and all the stuff around the river.

And the robot likes it.

Seriously, it's a great experience and it's worth making a bit of a diversion for, especially on a Thames themed trip.
(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:49, Reply)
Right you are, I'll see what the navigator says.

When I worked in Featherstone, one of the regulars at a pub I drank in
reckoned she needed a good hard thump up the knickers and a strong-minded husband who won't tolerate being walked over.
(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 20:45, Reply)
...and you were the only man who could give that to her?

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 20:49, Reply)
I agreed with the regular who responded "Sooner you than me, pal!"

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 20:50, Reply)
...by getting their baps out for money
and flogging the chaotic state of their nth marriage to vacuous glossy magazines as the most depressing and demeaning sort of tragedy-porn?

I can honestly say I find her and her whole ethos repulsive to the point where (and I've said this before)
She is the worst human being in the UK that I have heard of, that is on the right side of the law.

If I would put a ban on her getting married again, it is purely a financial thing for her, as shown by launching her album at the doo, making a tv show and selling it to magazines, doubly proven by the split up.

I think it is sick that she got "ordinary" girls for her clothing line and gave them clothing that was unflattering, with a headband to make them look worst... All under the guise of empowerment, when it was pure mockery and controversy why she did it.

I think she only cares about fame, children and money... And would murder people if it was illegal to get it, rather than morel.

I hate the fact that people aspire to be her, if she ever grows a concous, it would put her in hospital.
(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 20:48, Reply)
Oh, I don't know, it's quite noble to aspire to be a mother to a spastic...

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 20:54, Reply)
I'm going out
But 450 miles away in Edinburgh. Bets are on as to whether I'll make it to my 9.15 lecture tomorrow. Smart money is on "no".
