That's gone right over my head without a google.
I've seen that film twice, it's ok. The only line I remember is "He's not the messiah, he's a very naught boy!" and that's only because people who think they're funny say it a lot when they're drunk.

The film is fantastic, definitely one of my favourites.
The whole 'Biggus Dickus' and 'Incontinentia Buttocks' scene still has me in hysterics.

Oh it makes me laugh occasionally, don't get me wrong.
And it's a good lampooning of religion which I'm all for. But christ, when people get hold of things and put them on pedestals and make them some kind of holy grail does my head in, especially when it's just an average movie.

I hate it when people, especially LARPers
Endlessly quote that and The Holy Grail. Makes me want to hurt them.

Ha! Holy Grail.
I agree with you though, but add Se7en, Donnie Darko, Fight Club and American Beauty to that list. I enjoyed Se7en, the rest were just dull. Then you've got people talking about them like they're the second coming of Christ?
Fuck off.

Or American Beauty for that matter.

It's not the quoting, it's the putting them on a pedestal.

Yes.
Most furniture is sorted, hopefully my bed is being delivered in the next few days along with my sweet new FREE flatscreen teevee. I need a comfy chair or another two-seat sofa, a big wardrobe for my room and another PC or laptop to complete the set. Curtains can wait until the houses opposite us finish being built.

Pffft I work.
A mate has had it hanging around his house for a few months, his missus has been bugging him to stick it on ebay. We went out and got pissed before Christmas to celebrate his wedding and he offered me his telly for nothing. Made me cry it did.
