I don't have a question either
But I am very intrigued about the whole laser eye surgery thing. I desperately want to have it done myself but don't have £3.5K spare, which is apparently what it will cost with my prescription. If you don't mind, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.

I'll gaz you, when I can see again, with the details
Sportcow had it done a while back so I am interested to see how my experience matches up to his

Two people I work with have had it done and won't stop banging on about how great it is.
Good sign probably.

I'm both fascinated and terrified by the whole thing. I can't stand anything going near my eyes. I imagine you're probably the same

Nah I don't have any problems touching my eyes
Having those tests where the machine blows in your eyes, having the optiction touching my eyes

Pop out the eyeballs and then roger your sockets. When you wake up your eyes weep a little white discharge which they say is the eye healing itself, well it's not. It's Optician-spunk
(, Tue 8 Feb 2011, 13:27, Reply)
Gah, stop
That's not necessarily true in my case because there's a different procedure for prescriptions of a certain level of shitness, like mine. But all the same, that freaks me out so much. I'd rather have the bumming
