I have taken the dog to the beach (it was glorious)
Done some washing, all of last week's ironing and last night's dishes. I am about to empty the washing machine, hang more washing up to dry and then await the commencement of operation hair bleach.

My heating has broken

Took me about an hour to find out that there was a fuse on the outdoor unit that had blown.

i think mines a pressure thing
or a pilot light not working thing. Have emailed the letting agency who will ignore it for ages and put on fingerless gloves

thought bleeding the radiator might work and now the pressure's REALLY low. Stupid things I don't understand :(

I went to a vintage night
in a pub in the next village over. It was all music from the 20s to the 60s and there was a big screen playing clips from silent movies and stuff. I got all dressed up 50s glam, got drunk and danced like a nutter. It was brilliant.

I have never subscribed to the hair of the dog theory
I still have half a bottle of wine and just thinking about it makes me shudder. If I'm really hungover just the thought of drinking again makes me feel actively nauseous.
Plus I had places to be, I had to drive to babysitting, sainsburys etc. Looking after children when you're hungover is really quite shit.
