but a TV programme doesn't have to be subtle, thought-provoking, loaded with symbolism and real-world parallels or even especially well-acted to be ENTERTAINING. For some of us simple folk, the prospect of enjoying an hour of TV rather than sneering at its poor production values and listening to Electric Landlady for the thousandth time is quite endearing
