Sadly most female Ballroom dancers are fuck-ugly for some reason, but the occasional looker with decent taste in dresses can look fucking amazing.

Nail on the head
One of my biggest gripes as regards Ballroom is how much appearance counts for and how being orange seems to have retained importance as a convention. There's something very sobering about using a bathroom mirror to do your tie up and having to share it with a man who's painting his face orange using ridiculously heavy foundation.

I saw some proper Tango dancing and singing in BBAA
both street and ballroom, and it's amazing. Even Mark finished with goose bumps. We went to a lesson too. Well funny, and not as difficult as I thought, for the first easy steps.
