Right that one's died as well.
what was your favourite childhood hobby? Do you still indulge in it now?

Minus points for tedious noncing/wanking references.

Computer games
Yes I do, although I don't spend long periods at once anymore.

This post is boring so I'm going to make it better with an old joke.
Why does George Micheal have brown stains round his mouth?

Because he was careless with his whispa.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 11:38, Reply)
Has this made it better? Has it really?

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 11:40, Reply)
It's funny because you thought it was a gay joke but it's not.

what's white and slides down the inside of a public toilet door?

Mine was reading about history and I very much still do this now.
I did a lot of drawing and painting which I don't do any more. My brother, father and I were obsessive Airfix fans and we recreated the airborne aspect of WWII suspended from my brother's ceiling, with the Pacific in one corner, and the Battle of Britain in another etc.

Amazingly all three of us have real live female partners.

Lego all the way. Best fucking toy EVAR. I have it all up in the loft to give to the kids once they have served their Duplo apprenticeship

I used to draw a fair bit
never any good at it though. I'd probably be better now.

I've always read a lot which I still thoroughly enjoy, and obviously playing the guitar.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 11:40, Reply)
I draw occasionally
It is quite relaxing to draw stuff. I read often on the metro to and from work, and sometimes at home.

I haven't played my guitar for ages - *sadfaces*
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 11:41, Reply)
I found it relaxing too
I use photoshop to do stuff a bit every now and then and that is nice and relaxing too.

I intend to design myself a tattoo soon which will be fun.

I'm toying with the idea of an alchemical symbol for water at the moment, or using that in some design

My brother was a superb artist (you've seen his gig poster for my band)
and hasn't picked up a pen or paintbrush in about twenty years. Art college was so awful it put him off for life. Rather sad.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 11:42, Reply)
that is sad.
my mother is also a superb artist in many media. Mostly pottery these days, but she draws very well.

She basically wasn't allowed to go to art college because that wasn't what girls did back in her day.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 11:44, Reply)
She also sucks a superb cock.

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 11:45, Reply)

At first i thought you were talking about those spinning things
that you twirled ona bit or string and chucked in the air, I coulkd never do that. This might explain my hatred of all "circus skills" from juggling to poi's; the dreadlocked hippy cunts.

Playing football
Don't do so any more because it's just not as much fun once you realise you'll never be a professional because you're incredibly bad at it.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 11:49, Reply)
Never mind Marty, at least you still get to 'play away from home'

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 12:12, Reply)
Playing sport.
Rugby, football and cricket were firm favourites.

Not anymore though. These days the closest I get to playing sport is occasionally throwing some darts in the pub.

other lots resulted in different prizes, such as skipping, behind the bike shed fumbling and learning to smoke

Scrounging for refundable glass bottles.
I must have spent years of my childhood scampering around building sites and behind pubs looking for these elusive 'glass cheques'. We would even go round peoples doors and ask, and no, I never got nonced and my silence bought by 2 empty Irn Bru bottles.

I was cutting the grass last year and 2 urchins shouted over, asking if I had any empty bottles. Unfortunately I didn't, it did make me go all misty eyed though.

8p bottle, rising to about 15p in case you were wondering.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 12:57, Reply)
By the end of one university term my bedroom floor was littered with 112 empty Irn Bru bottles.
That last week of term we ate an awful lot of chippies.
