Why are you happy?

(, Thu 2 Jun 2011, 14:26, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
Why, thank you very much for asking, Blousie.
I just went into a clothes shop changing room - one with a full length mirror, no less, and I didn't look like the mothercunting Michelin Man!

I am so fucking chuffed it isn't feasible. Coming after the shit of a week I've just had, this is the best thing ever.

Those mirrors are concave to make you look better

I don't want to rain on your parade sweetie but you do know that shops put in mirrors to make women look smaller on purpose?

(, Thu 2 Jun 2011, 14:29, Reply)
No, I usually look huge in shop mirrors.
And shut up, don't spoil my happy!
(, Thu 2 Jun 2011, 14:31, Reply)
Well in that case....................WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

*high fives*
Actually, it wasn't a chain shop either; it was a little boutique thing with just a standard IKEA type mirror.
(, Thu 2 Jun 2011, 14:34, Reply)
I think the last time I was small enough to fit into anything a boutique stocked was when I was 14.

Stop being so rude!
All they do is angle them backwards so you're looking up at yourself, which is a bit more flattering. They aren't convex.

To be honest my mirror at home is worse than any shop mirror.
It's a wonder I go out the house each morning.
(, Thu 2 Jun 2011, 14:37, Reply)
Please don't say that
or I'm in worse trouble than I thought
(, Thu 2 Jun 2011, 14:32, Reply)
Well done you, how much have you lost?

(, Thu 2 Jun 2011, 14:30, Reply)
I didn't actually think i'd lost anything
but I have cut right back on the fatty fatty troughing.

About 40% of brain mass and 60% of ocular function by the sound of it.

(, Thu 2 Jun 2011, 14:33, Reply)
Oh man, you're so on the list!
