Afternoon Update
Just got a call from work - a bit of the XML processing has stopped working in the new version. We go back to the test system and it's not working there either WHICH MAKES NO SENSE BECAUSE WE SIGNED OFF A FULL TEST THERE. Argh. Fuck you XML, fuck you in the butt.

After 30 minutes of over the phone debugging I've identified a change that works when tried in isolation, but we don't know why, or why the system worked without it when we tested it before. I'm awaiting a callback after they try it in test.

Exciting stuff, I'm sure you'll agree.

I made a lemon tart last night 'cus I suddenly felt like it and I went to look in the fridge this morning and about 2/3 to 3/4 of it is gone....

The fix worked so I imagine I won't have to go in. still, 45 minutes on the phone total at double time and me in just my pants isn't bad.
