Been away on a dancing weekend, darling
James Jordan picked me out of a group of about a hundred people (mostly OAPs, admittedly) to demonstrate how to do the arms on a New York and later kissed me on the cheek. Also met his wife Ola, who is absurdly fit, and Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova who are both lovely, short and orange.

When we met them I shook his hand and then Ola's, and they both gave Ms Foxtrot a kiss on each cheek. In all fairness, this just proves they have taste, but obviously I was like "where's mine?" and James kissed me on the cheek. Which is not what I was after but sufficient to sustain the gay jibes a little while longer.

James Jordan is actually bloody funny in real life, I was most impressed by how comfortably he held court in the workshop and doing Q&A's between dances when they did their demonstration. He was smart enough to poke fun at the manliness of wearing tight trousers and sequins for a living.
