by being in Virginia as opposed to over here. I would go so far as to say apart from some spastic from a shit band whose name I cannot even recall from the 80s, I've never heard of a UK Jim Bob.

*perhaps the worst band of all time. I used to get stuck in the lifts at Tufnell Park tube station with their singer about three times a fucking week at one point. 'The Sultan', we called him. What a prick he was.

Although I have no anecdote with which to substantiate my point.

Their 'hit' was called 'Where's me jumper' and it's the most appalling display of Wakiness this side of The Toy Dolls' 'Nellie The Elephant' which is more belmtastic than a week spent flinging Hush Puppies into the English Channel with Joey, Ernie and Tom, Janet Ellis and Simon Groom.

I have that album, I used to quite like them, but then my taste in music does veer from the sublime to the ridiculous.

YOU'RE the person who bought their album. I always believed you to be a myth like the Sasquatch. Well I never.

I also own a William Shatner album and no less than 2 by The Insane Clown Posse, probably other stuff too, but this is the worst that springs to mind.

(and this will not surprise you even a teensy bit) I also own that album, purchased for me by my darling bro.

However I refuse to believe that any band who weren't taking themselves seriously could actually be considered worse than Oasis, who, almost unbelievably, were.
That said I can't make a direct comparison for reasons stated above - and if this lot really were worse than Oasis, I have no intention of looking them up.

Without hearing 'Jumper', you are in blissful ignorance.

It's not even funny in a "comedy record" kind of way.

It wasn't just me, either - my chum who lived nearby also had the same problem repeatedly. We came to the conclusion that he hung around the tube station in the folorn hope that one day he would find his errant jumper there.

is reasonably apparent in the phrase "blissful ignorance" and the popular phrase from which you have derived it.

They did a song Based on a Brian Clough quote about John Robertson, apparently this is to do with football and that team I think you like so you might care about this.

Was the quote in question the famous "we don't argue, we have a discussion and then we agree that I was right"?

*Disclaimer - the above was written as soon as I identified the name of the song and remembered the quote.
As I type, I am undergoing increasingly severe mental trauma caused by the progression of a staggeringly inept song.
Fuck this, I've heard enough. Monty... you may have had a point.
